The SEASIR TINGHE Spinning Reel is built for fishos wanting a powerful, versatile reel for estuary, inshore and offshore fishing without unnecessarily heavy construction.

Available from 2500 through to 6000, the TINGHE range covers everything from lighter lure fishing for flathead and bream through to heavier setups targeting snapper, mulloway, mangrove jack and pelagic species.

The reel uses a reinforced nylon body, which SEASIR states is approximately 34% stronger than conventional nylon material, helping maintain rigidity while keeping weight down. The smallest 2500 model weighs just 229g.

A major feature is the aluminium power handle, providing a solid connection when retrieving lures or working against heavier fish. Inside, a 5+1 bearing system and 5.2:1 gear ratio provide a versatile retrieve suitable for plastics, hardbodies, bait fishing and general lure work.

The drag system uses a combination of metal and wool drag washers, with the range advertised at up to 20kg maximum drag.

For saltwater use, SEASIR incorporates a stainless steel main shaft and sealing structure, including a rubber sealing ring around the spool cover to help reduce water and debris intrusion.

Saltwater Care

Although the TINGHE incorporates saltwater-resistant materials and sealing features, it should still be maintained after saltwater fishing. Lightly rinse the exterior with fresh water, avoid forcing high-pressure water into the reel, and allow it to dry thoroughly before storage.
