Built for serious offshore fishing, the PROBEROS Full Metal Jigging & Trolling Reel combines a compact conventional reel design with a powerful 20kg / 44lb maximum drag system.
The CNC-machined full-metal construction provides the rigidity and durability required when fishing heavier tackle, while the 5.7:1 gear ratio delivers a versatile balance between line retrieval speed and winding power.
Inside, the reel features 9 S A-RB ball bearings plus 1 A-RB roller bearing for smooth operation under load. The compact drum-style design makes it well suited to vertical jigging, bottom fishing and offshore trolling, while the large aluminium-style power handle provides a secure grip when fighting stronger fish.
Choose between the more compact PJG300 or the larger-capacity PJG400, with left- and right-hand configurations available.

PJG300 vs PJG400
PJG300 — 465g
The more compact option, ideal when you want a powerful conventional reel without unnecessary bulk. A great match for jigging, bottom fishing and general offshore work.
PJG400 — 506g
The larger model provides increased spool width and additional line capacity, making it better suited to heavier offshore applications where extra braid capacity is useful.

Fishing Applications
Vertical Jigging: The compact conventional design and 5.7:1 gearing make it well suited to working metal jigs vertically through the water column.
Bottom Fishing: The 20kg maximum drag provides plenty of capability for heavier bottom-fishing setups targeting reef species.
Offshore Trolling: High line capacity and a powerful drag system make the reel suitable for trolling applications when paired with appropriately rated tackle.
Saltwater Care
After saltwater use, lightly rinse the exterior of the reel with fresh water without using high-pressure spray. Dry thoroughly before storage and periodically inspect and maintain moving components to keep the reel operating smoothly.
