Piscifun Alloy M Baitcasting Reel | Aluminium Frame 10kg Drag
Piscifun Alloy M Baitcasting Reel | Aluminium Frame 10kg Drag
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Piscifun Alloy M is an aluminium-frame baitcasting reel designed for freshwater and saltwater fishing applications. Weighing approximately 210g, it combines a rigid ADC12-grade aluminium alloy frame with a 10kg / 22lb supplier-rated maximum drag, 8+1 bearing system and adjustable 12-magnet braking system.
Multiple gear-ratio options allow the reel to be matched to different lure styles and retrieve speeds, while the extended carbon handle and EVA knobs provide additional leverage and grip during retrieval.
Key Features
- ADC12-grade aluminium alloy frame
- 10kg / 22lb maximum drag
- 8+1 bearing system
- 8 double-shielded ball bearings
- 1 roller bearing
- 12-magnet braking system
- Oversized Hamai CNC-cut brass gear
- Four carbon drag washers
- Multiple gear-ratio options
- Extended carbon handle
- High-density EVA handle knobs
- Approx. 210g reel weight
- Suitable for freshwater and saltwater fishing
Aluminium Alloy Frame
The Alloy M uses an ADC12-grade aluminium frame rather than a graphite or polymer-based frame. The supplier describes the material as providing increased durability, corrosion resistance and impact resistance for use across freshwater and saltwater environments.
At approximately 210g / 7.4oz, the reel maintains a relatively compact weight despite its metal frame construction.
10kg Carbon Drag System
Four enlarged carbon drag washers work with the reel's gearing to provide a supplier-rated maximum drag of:
10kg / 22lb
This provides the Alloy M with the drag capacity for medium-to-heavier baitcasting applications, including fishing around structure where additional stopping pressure may be useful.
12-Magnet Braking System
The adjustable magnetic braking system uses 12 magnets to control spool behaviour during casting.
Brake adjustment allows the reel to be tuned for different lure weights, wind conditions and casting styles, helping the angler manage spool speed and reduce overruns.
Hamai CNC-Cut Brass Gear
The Alloy M incorporates an oversized Hamai CNC-cut brass gear. According to the supplier, the gear uses a greater number of teeth than conventional designs to provide smoother gear engagement.
8+1 Bearing System
The reel is equipped with:
- 8 × double-shielded ball bearings
- 1 × roller bearing
The supplier also specifies high-speed NMB bearings as part of the casting system.
Multiple Retrieve Options
The Alloy M is offered with multiple gear-ratio configurations, allowing different retrieve speeds to be matched to different fishing techniques.
Supplier information lists:
- 6.3:1
- 7.5:1
- 8.4:1
A higher gear ratio retrieves line more quickly for techniques where rapid lure recovery or fast line pickup is useful, while the lower ratio provides a more moderate retrieve.
Line Capacity
Braid
- 0.234mm / 150m
- 20lb / 165yd
Mono
- 0.234mm / 160m
- 7lb / 175yd
Suitable Fishing Applications
Depending on the selected gear ratio and rod, line and lure combination, the Alloy M can be used for:
- Barramundi
- Mangrove jack
- Murray cod
- Bass
- Large hardbody lures
- Soft plastics
- Spinnerbaits
- Surface lures
- Estuary lure fishing
- River and impoundment fishing

The product is top-notch, the reel is of excellent quality and will definitely deliver what it promises. It's really good, now we just need to test it.
The fishing reel was nice and i'm satisfied with the performance.
I bought this reel with some mistrust, but after trying it for an entire afternoon of fishing, it works very, very well, it's very solid, has excellent smoothness, the brake is also great, and not to mention the casting distance is excellent. This reel is just as good as any of the top brand reels that cost around $170 to $200 dollars. I definitely recommend it.
For the first time, I only did a few throws on the range using 10, 20, and 30 gram lead bullets.
The throwing brake can be adjusted finely and audibly, just like the flight brake. This allows you to achieve good distances without having to worry about false starts.
It runs smoothly and retracts the cord well even in dry conditions.
It therefore has a very, very good price-performance ratio.
I liked it, reels without gaps, well finished, smooth, now it's time to test it, too bad there's no sound signal for the line outlet. It's a seamless piece from end to end.
