The Piscifun Alijoz Alinox 400 is a heavy-duty, high-capacity baitcasting reel designed for anglers using larger lures, heavier lines and live-bait setups. Heavy-Duty Drag System
The Alinox 400 uses Piscifun's HDS (Hercules Drag System), which is designed around an increased drag-pad contact area to generate additional friction and resistance.
Maximum drag varies depending on the selected gear ratio:

This gives the Alinox 400 considerably more drag capability than a typical light baitcasting setup and makes it better suited to heavier line, larger lures and fish that require additional stopping power.
Bait-Clicker Line Alarm
An independent bait-clicker switch provides an audible indication when a fish begins taking line.
This can be particularly useful when fishing live or dead baits, allowing the reel to be set while providing an audible indication of line movement.
Magnetic Casting Brake
The magnetic braking system provides adjustable spool control during casting. This allows the braking level to be adjusted to suit different lure weights, casting conditions and individual casting styles.
Hardened Brass Gearing
The main gear and pinion are manufactured from precision-machined, double-hardened brass, with the supplier stating a 10% increase in overall gear strength.

Please Note
Maximum drag differs between the two gear-ratio configurations. The 6.6:1 model is supplier-rated to 38lb / 17kg, while the 8.1:1 model is rated to 35lb / approximately 15.9kg.
The supplier describes several components as corrosion resistant and the reel as suitable for saltwater fishing, but no formal waterproof or IP rating has been provided.
After saltwater use, rinse the exterior lightly with fresh water without directing high-pressure water into the reel, allow it to dry, and maintain it according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

This thing is an absolute beast of a reel - much bigger than the 400 size shimano tranx with plenty of drag. It's much closer to a castable overhead than a bait caster. Drag clicker switch provides plenty of tension for live baits and is loud. You'd have no problem landing tuna to 40-50kg on it
It's great, it's big. The previous one was 300, this one is much bigger, it arrived on the scheduled delivery time.
The coil is amazing, the size is impressive, made with high quality, backlash is normal, not more than my Dive Tatula Elite 103, fits well in hand. Due to lack of experience with powerful coil models, it seems a bit heavy, but I hope we'll get along with it. Thanks to the seller!
