Built for offshore anglers chasing powerful pelagic species, this Heavy-Duty Sinking Pencil Lure combines a streamlined baitfish profile with serious casting weight and reinforced internal construction.
Available in 130mm / 45g and 170mm / 90g sizes, it's designed for getting a lure out to feeding fish from the boat, rocks or shore. The sinking design lets you work different parts of the water column rather than being restricted to the surface.
Inside, a one-piece wire construction runs through the lure, providing additional strength when connected to hard-fighting fish. The internal counterweight helps balance the lure and contributes to its casting and swimming characteristics.
The two sizes are supplied with different hook configurations: the 130mm model uses a treble hook, while the larger 170mm model uses a single hook.

How to Fish It
This style of sinking pencil gives you plenty of flexibility. Cast toward bait schools, feeding birds, current lines or actively feeding pelagics, then vary the sink time and retrieve to find where the fish are holding. It can be worked with a fast retrieve for active fish or with sweeps, twitches and pauses for a more erratic baitfish presentation.
The 45g model is the lighter all-round option, while the 90g model provides substantially more weight for bigger tackle, larger fish and situations where casting distance or stronger conditions are a priority.
