The HAUT TON LS Carbon Fibre Spinning Reel is an exceptionally lightweight reel series designed for anglers who want to keep their finesse and light-tackle setups as responsive as possible.
Starting at just 106g in the smaller LS500, LS800 and LS1000 models, the reel uses a carbon fibre main body to dramatically reduce weight while retaining the rigidity required for fishing.
The range extends from tiny 500-size finesse reels through to the larger 3000 model, allowing the same lightweight platform to cover ultralight freshwater fishing, bream and trout setups, estuary lure fishing and more general-purpose spinning.
A 5.2:1 gear ratio and 5+1 bearing system are used throughout the range, while larger models increase drag capacity to suit heavier tackle.

The LS3000 specification row is partially obscured in the supplied product image, so I wouldn't publish an exact drag figure until confirmed by the supplier.
Listed Line Capacity
| Model | Line Capacity |
|---|---|
| LS500 | 0.4 / 120m · 0.6 / 100m |
| LS800 | 0.6 / 140m · 0.8 / 120m |
| LS1000 | 0.8 / 180m · 1.0 / 160m |
| LS1500 | 0.8 / 90m · 1.0 / 75m |
| LS2500 | 0.8 / 115m · 1.0 / 90m |
The supplier image doesn't clearly identify the line-rating unit used for these figures, so I've kept the capacities in the manufacturer's original format rather than incorrectly labelling them as line diameter.
Which Size Should You Choose?
LS500 / LS800: Tiny reels for true ultralight setups, micro lures and compact creek rods.
LS1000: An excellent finesse option for trout, redfin, bream and Australian bass. At only 106g, this would pair particularly well with an Ajing or ultralight carbon rod.
LS1500: Adds substantially more drag while remaining under 170g — a good crossover between ultralight and conventional light-tackle fishing.
LS2500: The most versatile size for general Australian estuary lure fishing, including bream and flathead.
LS3000: The larger option for anglers wanting the LS carbon platform with additional capacity for more general-purpose spinning.
Ideal For Australian Fishing

🐟 Trout
🐟 Redfin
🐟 Australian Bass
🐟 Estuary Perch
🐟 Flathead
🐟 Whiting on lures
🎣 Ajing & finesse fishing
🎣 Ultralight soft plastics & hardbodies
A Great Match for Ultralight Rods
The biggest selling point here is weight. A 106g reel paired with one of the ultralight TSURINOYA/Ajing rods in your range would create an exceptionally light finesse combination, particularly for anglers casting small plastics and hardbodies for long sessions.
Saltwater Care
For saltwater fishing, lightly rinse the exterior with fresh water after use and allow the reel to dry before storage. Avoid directing high-pressure water into the reel body, drag or bearings.

Good little reel so far. very lightweight so it might feel cheap, but the drag is consistent, the reeling action is smooth, and the reel also has nice features not usually found on budget reels. like a folding, screw in handle.
I’m happy 😆
Nice spinning reel definitely worth the money 💰
