How to Fish It

For a classic jerkbait presentation, cast the lure around bait schools, drop-offs, rock walls, timber or other structure and retrieve it using a combination of short rod twitches and pauses.

Try twitch-twitch-pause, then vary the length of the pause until you find what the fish respond to. When fish are actively feeding, a faster continuous retrieve with intermittent jerks can cover more water.
