At Tackle Discount Australia, our goal is simple: to provide Australian anglers with quality fishing tackle at competitive prices, backed by clear shipping information, straightforward returns and reliable customer support.

The information below explains how shipping, delivery, returns and order issues are handled.

Shipping Costs

We offer simple Australia-wide shipping rates:

• Orders under $79 AUD: $5.99 flat-rate standard shipping
• Orders of $79 AUD or more: FREE standard shipping Australia-wide

Any applicable shipping charge will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Where Your Order Ships From

To help keep our prices competitive, many products are dispatched directly from the overseas warehouses of our trusted manufacturers and suppliers.

We do not hold every product in Australia.

This direct-to-customer fulfilment model allows us to reduce many of the costs associated with traditional retail inventory and offer a broader range of fishing tackle at competitive prices.

Because some products are shipped internationally, delivery can take longer than standard Australian domestic postage.

If your order contains products supplied by different warehouses or manufacturers, your items may arrive in separate parcels and at different times.

Where available, separate tracking information will be provided for each shipment.

Processing & Delivery Times

Estimated delivery timeframes are:

• Order processing: 2–5 business days
• Standard delivery: Approximately 10–20 business days after dispatch
• Tracking: Provided when available once your order has been dispatched

These timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Most orders arrive within the estimated timeframe. However, delays can occasionally occur due to:

• Supplier processing
• International freight
• Customs inspections
• Peak delivery periods
• Weather events
• Local courier delays
• Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

Delivery Delays & Missing Orders

If your order has not arrived within 30 business days, please contact us so we can investigate the shipment.

We will review the available tracking information and follow up with the relevant supplier or shipping provider.

If a parcel is confirmed as lost or another genuine delivery issue has occurred, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.

25-Day Returns

We want you to feel confident ordering from Tackle Discount Australia.

In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, we offer eligible customers a 25-day change-of-mind return window.

To request a return, you must contact us within 25 calendar days of the date your order was delivered.

Please contact us before returning any product.

Because products may originate from different supplier warehouses, the correct return address may be different from the address shown on the parcel you received.

All returns must therefore be authorised by our customer support team before being sent.

First Return Free

Your first eligible change-of-mind return with Tackle Discount Australia includes free standard return shipping.

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and either arrange the return shipment or cover the approved standard return postage.

The First Return Free benefit applies to the customer's first approved change-of-mind return shipment.

After your first free return has been used, return postage for future change-of-mind returns may be the customer's responsibility.

Return shipping must be authorised by us in advance.

We may not reimburse:

• Unauthorised postage
• Express postage
• Additional delivery services purchased independently
• Products sent to an incorrect return address

The First Return Free policy applies to voluntary change-of-mind returns and does not limit your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet Australian Consumer Law requirements.

Change-of-Mind Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the following conditions generally apply:

• You contact us within 25 calendar days of delivery
• The item is unused and in resalable condition
• Original packaging, labels, accessories and components are included where applicable
• The product has not been damaged, modified, installed, washed or used
• You provide your order number or another acceptable form of proof of purchase
• You follow the return instructions provided by our customer support team

Please do not send a product back until your return request has been approved.

Change-of-Mind Return Outcome

Once an eligible returned product has been received and inspected, an approved change-of-mind return will be issued as a Tackle Discount Australia store voucher for the eligible value of the returned item.

Change-of-mind returns are not refunded to the original payment method.

The store voucher:

• Will be issued electronically
• Can be used toward a future purchase from Tackle Discount Australia
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Cannot be transferred or resold
• Will reflect the amount actually paid for the eligible returned item after applicable discounts

Any expiry or usage conditions will be stated when the voucher is issued.

Items That May Not Be Eligible for Change of Mind

A change-of-mind return may be refused where:

• The return request is made more than 25 calendar days after delivery
• The product has been used, damaged, modified, installed or washed
• Original packaging, labels, accessories or components are missing
• The product cannot reasonably be resold for hygiene or safety reasons
• The product was personalised, customised or made specifically for the customer
• The product was clearly identified as final sale or non-returnable before purchase
• Damage was caused by misuse, improper handling or failure to follow product instructions

These exclusions apply to our voluntary change-of-mind policy only.

They do not limit any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item arrives:

• Damaged
• Faulty
• Unsafe
• Incorrect
• Missing components
• Significantly different from its description
• Otherwise not compliant with applicable consumer guarantees

• Photographs of the parcel or packaging if the product was damaged during delivery

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy based on the circumstances and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the situation, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate solution.

Where Australian Consumer Law entitles you to a refund, that refund will not be restricted to a Tackle Discount Australia store voucher.

Australian Consumer Law

Our 25-Day Returns and First Return Free benefits are provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

They do not replace, exclude or restrict those rights.

Consumer guarantees may continue to apply after our 25-day change-of-mind return period has ended.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Knives & Cutting Tools

Knives and cutting tools sold by Tackle Discount Australia are intended solely for lawful fishing, outdoor, utility or related purposes.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their purchase, possession, transport and use of any knife or bladed product complies with the laws and regulations applicable in their state or territory.

Orders may be refused or cancelled where we reasonably believe completing the sale would be unlawful or inappropriate.

Tackle Discount Australia does not accept responsibility for unlawful use, misuse or improper handling of a knife or cutting tool.

Nothing in this section limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
